The Head of Al-Nabaa Forum for Dialogue, Ali Al-Talqani, met on Wednesday with the Ambassador of the European Union Delegation to Iraq, Mr. Clemens Semtner, in the presence of several organization directors, to discuss prospects for developing the banking sector and strengthening institutional work.
The meeting addressed economic and developmental issues related to international cooperation and supporting stability during the Ambassador's visit to Karbala Governorate.
The two sides touched upon banking sector reform and ways to enhance efficiency and stimulate investment. The role of international organizations in training and capacity building was also discussed, particularly in combating corruption and improving institutional performance through modern mechanisms.
This meeting, organized by the European Union Delegation, comes as part of ongoing efforts to deepen dialogue between Iraqi institutions and international partners, aimed at developing national capacities and enhancing transparency and stability across various sectors.
