The Dutch Ambassador to Iraq, Hans Sandee, expressed on Wednesday his pleasure at visiting Karbala Governorate and meeting with the Head of the Al-Nabaa Forum for Dialogue, Ali Al-Talqani, and members of the forum.
Speaking to Al-Nabaa News Agency during his visit to the forum, Johannes stated: "I am happy with my visit to Karbala and meeting with the members of the forum," adding, "We discussed the importance of dialogue and communication between different societies, and I look forward to another visit to Karbala."
Johannes expressed "his happiness at being the Dutch Ambassador to this country," pointing out that "his country has long-standing relations with Iraq, and we support Iraqis in various fields such as dialogue, the economic domain, civil society, and others."
Regarding the government program of Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al-Sudani, Johannes noted that "it is an ambitious program, and we must wait and see which of the promises made to the people will be implemented, as well as to see the extent of space provided by the political blocs for him."
